  Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Donkey: Swamp Fortress: Ghoul: Session 6 With everything more or less ready. Me, Edmund, our dog and a new companion and also a pack carrier which was a donkey have set off towards the unknown again. We spent the next 8 hours or so traveling to the swarmp we were going through earlier. After arriving at it we set up a proper camp and called it a day. Our new donkey was content with just eating some plants over the journey so we had a bit of a surplus. The nexy day we started exploring the swamp properly. After we woke up I saw Edmund cursing under his breath. Turns out the food we packed at Woodriver has all spoiled, what a disaster. But I will not allow this expedition to simply end with us having to go back. We still have the water so we can just hunt. We spent the day trying to get some food and restock our water. Fortunately we were able to obtain some, for today and the next three days or so. We set off towards the east. It was a thick forest

  Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Edmund: Dog: Jewelry Shop: Rented House: Ring of Lightning: Session 5 Using my connections within the Mage Academy I was able to secure safe sale of the treasure because otherwise the normal merchants I know of will have trouble buying the jewelry I have. The jewelry we found came out at 960 gold pieces for the cheap ones and 1200 gold pieces for the costly ones. However since I'm selling this on short notice I only get about a quarter of the value. If I had a jewelry shop that could sell it over longer time then I could sell it for half, a genuine buyer who was looking for something specific could pay the full price. So was explained to me due to my connections. So all in all the jewelry has sold for 540 gold pieces. Ultimately combined with the coins we found, my share comes out to 1356 gold more or less. I will be able to make a few magic items or scrolls with that kind of money. I also need to rent some kind of room or even house with a ch

  Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Woodriver Soldier: Giant Toad: Defensive Earthen Wall: Abandoned Elven Mine: Session 4 Day later we were prepared to continue the wilderness exploration once again. I have decided to take with us four days worth of food instead, which will encumber us a bit but not for long anyway. Water will have to be found. Considering the road more to the south was already explored. We deemed it approporiate to explore eastwards in the regions we simply moved through. During our travel, we have met a group of five soldiers from Woodriver. They looked to be patroling  the area for intruders. Once they have spotted us they asked us what we were doing here, one of them was looking at my backpack and our equipment in general. They looked less upstanding than normal to me. I  tried to persuade them to leave us alone but they flatly rejected and told us that they will need to check our equipment for contraband. With a sigh I took out 5 gold pieces from my purse and

  Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Thick Forest: Swamp: Riverbank: Hill: Ruined Village: Hobgoblin: Session 3 Early in the morning we slowly moved back to the slave hideout and continued our journey of exploration towards south east. Soon we entered a forested hill, full of interesting views. An unfortunate event happened where our dog has stumbled upon some kind of old trap, he got injured and would need to recover for a few days, moving him would've been impossible due to degree of injuries. However I wasn't a wizard for nothing. Using the word of 'healing' I have stopped the bleeding and healed the damaging injury(1d4) done to my dog. Word 'Healing', No Vocation 2 Cost, d6 healing(2->d6), 1 target, decreased cost through usage of a herb spell component to negate increase cost of healing. I have chosen to cast my most powerful healing spell that until just recently was weaker, but my experience has spurred my growth. Chosing to make the magic a bit less

  Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Slave Hideout: Session 2 As the morning sunlight wakes us up from the night celebration amidst our first battlefield, we pack up and journey towards south east along the Kuriari River. There doesn't seem to be anything peculiar about the riverbank, we have explored all around, eaten our rations and also acquired some more water which was boiled above our campfire. The day passed and we were with just 1 day worth of food left, the dog had a bit more for itself but this day will be a day of foraging. I hoped our dog keen nose would allow us to track some animals to hunt or perhaps we will be lucky finding some edible plants. 2d8+1 vs DC of 9 = 11 1d4 days of food = 1 We did found something edible, but it merely sated our hunger for the hunting day. It seems we ought to move forward since it will be harder to find food in this area for a time. We continued moving south east. Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Forest:  Goblin: Session 1 We started by exploring the surrounding area. I spent years in the magic academy so I didn't have chance to do it earlier. I must get familiar with my surroundings first. The region south of Woodriver was a forest that separated town from the river flowing northwards. We encountered 5 goblins(looking to plunder from the weak and Violent, willing to fight if it seems at all profitable) here. Wisdom Roll. My wizard has +1 modifier so he rolls 2d8 for a roll of 8+1, Goblins roll 6. The goblin group is roughly 400 ft from us and saw us, their faces twist in violent glee as they finally found an opponent to rob. Goblin HP - 6 2 1 1 7 Edmund and I look at each other, taking a moment to talk if we can beat such opponents. He nods as he points at two goblins that look weak and old, another one looks sick. Wizard Character Sheet + Retainers Wizard Portrait: Edmund Portrait: Dog Portrait: Woodriver Town:  Session 0 Today is the day I have finally and officialy graduated the magic academy of my hometown Woodriver. It took me years to get started but it was a must as I was one of the few that managed to enter the place and succeed. As a genuine wizard I have decided to start my adventuring career, looting dungeons, saving people, getting rich and slaying monsters. The years however haven't given me a strong body and thus I required a helper. Using money I managed to save over my time as a student, mostly from casting some minor magic for money and stipend. I was able to buy some equipment for myself from the marketplace. In here I also searched for someone who looked tough and dependable. Hours later I found my first retainer, named Edmund. He was a guardsman before and happily accepted my persuasive offer of 3 sp per day along with half a share of the loot. Outfitting him in a gambeson
